Okay so. when i start up the game it does the movies, yada yada, then it goes to the menu. the catch is that there is no backround to the menu. you know where the planets kinda fly around when you change menus. its just black. all of the menus and interfaces are there. its just like DirectX doesnt start. Also, when i start up a scenario/skirmish the interface is there as well and the different icons for your ships above them and like your home planet, but there is no 3D what-so-ever. This may be due to my GeForce 4 MX. I was thinking because the game _might_ use 2.0 pixel shader that, that would interfere with this card. The Geforce4 supports the latest Direct X 9.0 so i dont know why this is happening.... any suggestions?
