Malice 1.05

Hi Everyone!

I know this may be a noobish question but how exactly does Malice work now? I recently bought the game and mainly played TEC but I want to play Advent to see how they work. Any help would be much appreciated!

From the 1.05 changelog:
Malice now accumulates damage on affected targets and then spreads that damage when the buff expires, rather than spreading damage as soon as damage is applied. Its duration, cooldown and AM cost have all been reduced to reflect this. Malice is now target capped as well at 8/16/24 targets.

More or less the same way, with a few notable changes:

1) It's now target capped to 8/16/24 targets at levels 1,2,3 respectively.
2) The damage calculations are handled differently to make it easier on the CPU. Before, the cpu would have to calculate the damage spread after every shot. Now it adds up the damage dealt during the duration of the ability, and then deals it to the affected targets after the ability expires.
3) Because of the above, it has a much shorter duration, but also costs less antimatter to cast and I believe a shorter cooldown.

Edit: Ye gods Kitkun, I get to call foul on this one. Pasting changelog is cheap!

i have testes malic in 1.09 yesterday. (never played V1.05)

At it seems that the new malice is very weak. With 3x malice (i think malice dont stack, but iam not sure) and 2x cleaning brilliance and 20x Illuminator i dont get this frigs to explosion in the big style it was done in previous versions.
