Boot Screen 1024X768

Hi,
I have been experimenting with XP boot screens with the bootskin program and they're qreat,

my boot screens are displayed at 640x480 (don't know how many colours) and they look a bit patchy

i would like them to be displayed at 1024x768 with 256 colour option or similar,

does anyone know how i can change this?

Unfortunately you can't that's a system limitation
Bootskins are only max 16 colors and 640x480.

i though that would be the case,

just that i see it enabled on the laptop just hoped that there was a fix or patch to enable it on the pc,
