Buy metal and crystal button placement

Being able to use the buy/sell metal/crystal buttons in the upper right of the screen without having to access the blackmarket menu is great, but if the research menu is open I can only sell as the buy buttons do not work when behind the research menu.  When I want to buy some extra metal/crystal to get enough for my next research I have to close the menu, buy it and then open the menu again.  It would be nice to be able to use both buy and sell buttons with the research menu open when researching.

If you can change the placement already to allow this please let me know how, if not I think it would be useful.

Would they cover anything important if they were above the research screen when it's opened?

I'd at least like to see them stacked vertically as in the black market screen.

Yeah...they can cover the upper right most techs if there are any there to cover (at least for Vasari...can't remember if it was civ or mil).

I'd prefer to see vertical placement as well, grouped together... the buy/sell metal and the buy/sell crystal above/below each other respectively, as well as the pirate bribe command and current bounty/target info. I don't usually bribe the pirates, but it's fun to see what the current bounty on your head is. heh

I was going to post something similar. I'm not sure about other resolutions, but IMO the research screen could just be shifted to the left edge of the screen. It'd cover all of the empire tree rather than part of it, but it's not like you can do much else with the research screen open anyways.

A few other thoughts... there is all sorts of unused space on the research screen, extra buy/sell buttons could be added in. Or a checkbox to auto-buy needed crystal/metal.

You can always use the keyboard shortcuts.  CTRL+F5 and F6 or something like that, right?
