Sanctioned tournaments.

Does any one know some one who hosts, or will be hosting sanctioned tournaments for SINS? ive been looking around for some good games to get into heavilly for tournament play and this one could be interesting... yes I know about the clan-v-clan thing in this forum but that strikes me as a very casual option, is there anything more serious available?

Nope. :P Sins never quite picked up as a tournament MP game. The upcoming Demigod might work for you, but it's not due until early '09, with the pre-order beta starting in September.

well it looks like the only one thats going to be big on competitive play is starcraft2. maybe thats a good one for me as im going to live in korea in a year or so, as they are big on the origional, though this game would have been nice as it actually requires thought and skill other than the same build order every game. Perhaps when ironclad become popular (if that happens) then we will see some tournaments requiring a brain but until then I dont see much hope, i guess its back to the quick fixers for some serious gaming, while keeping this one as a semi. a shame :(

Hey, my clan Phalanx (just starting up) is gonna try to pick up the competitiveness in Sins. If it goes well we might be hosting a tournament. Of course, it won't be anything close to SC, but it might be fun.
