Due to the long hours played I would love play my own MP3 music (refer to this option in Civ 4)

You can convert them to .ogg files and replace the ones in the game that are in the sound folder.

I just use windows media player. It plays just fine in the backround while playing the game. Havn't noticed any FPS drops while doing so. Just turn off the game music and enjoy your own while playing.
Not that I don't like the music in Sins, but a change is nice now and then..

Thanks Kitum and Fall_Guy I have been using Foobar and Winamp - but noticed a hit in FPS - I will try MS Media Player
