Patch 1.05 vs AI : best LONG TERM faction

If u want to play epic games against some HARD AI (that will allied themselves for sure) what faction is the best ?

My question is only for endgame with full tech tree. 

For example : What faction have the best Fleet ?...  do Vasari LRF fully upgrade are better than advent and tech LRF...

Same for capitals powers rank 6... 

Who have the best fully upgrade HC ? 

best special powers ?

I know that RA give a great edge to VASARI in that category but i don t want to take care of that option in my topic.

Actually with my experience i find that TEC are not really there while VASARI and ADVENT are almost equals...

Your opinion ?

I find that late-game Advent fleets are quite interesting to take down. They tend to have quite a few Guardians with their shield bubbles ;)

Vasari with Returning Armada. I've seen a guy go from worst fleet with almost 0 ships to having twice as many ships as anyone in about 45 minutes. And he didn't have to buy any of them!

Granted this was multiplayer, but the same applies to you. Also fully upgraded assailants are crazy good.

That being said, Advent has the "best" late game fleet.

Best in late game versus AI? While Vasari is awesome with free ships and easy phase jumps, I must say that I prefer the TEC because it's going to be a pain to kill the AI beacause they put up a fight on all fronts and with TEC you get to build the Novalith cannons. You can fight the enemy fleets while your Novas take out their planets and you've got the game in no time.

Vasari. Definitely.
Especially the carrier. Get that thing to level 6, and you can get three free ships. (granted you have to have an original version, but still.)
Not to mention that the Owna- *ahem* kosture cannon is awesome if you get like four of them.
Instant 40% damage to ever ship in one gravity well!

Cool ! That game seem to have a good balance because the answer u gave me include all 3 factions...

I will read many other tread in the strategy forum to learn more.
