not enough slots

I want to colonize a new planet I am told i need artic research . i am told that a need a another Civic reasearch center. when I try I am told there are no more slots available. I am in a single player game , how do go about opening up a new planet ? I am todl my Home planet is fully upgraded in all areas.

Asteroids, Dead Asteroids, Desert, and Terran planets can be colonized without any research. Dead Asteroids have no logistics slots, so it won't help you any. But there is always an asteroid connected to your homeworld you can colonize and have up to 12 logistics spaces to build up :)

you can always upgrade your logistic slots in the planet management window. They are green btw. One for logistic, and the other for tactic slots.

You could also scuttle an unneeded logistics structure.

I think the most any planet colonization tech needs is two civics labs.

Ok iI dont have any mor slots i need to have to cvic structures to be able to colonize the other worlds i have explored but i dont have the slots i dont know how to get more.RoyalRook talked about upgradeing my logistic slots in the planet managment window .Could someone please tell me were this is and how to use it.

When you select a planet, it's in the actions area (Or whatever its called) where you can select abilities and stuff. If you don't know where that is, try the tutorial.
