The Halo Universe

Hello all you halo nuts out there. I have made these maps because i love halo! and im tired of waiting for a halo mod, i feel that the races are almost standard to halo already (and because i lak any modding skills) i decided to create these maps based on the halo universe. One map "The 9TH War" Is the look on the map as the Covenant faction. In this map you will play as the covenant sweeping through the galaxy obliterating everythign in you path. The other map "UNSC 2525" is the look on it as the UNSC. In this map you will have the task of defending agaisnt the onslaught of the covenant. I have made the map balanced both teams start with 2 planets: UNSC - Earth, Reach Covenant - 2 Planets (random names) These maps are intended for single play use, but will be fun Multiplayer Enjoy!! I have changed nothing else in the games files, all this is is maps, if you would like to use these maps for any other use, please notify me with your intentions. Why 2 random names for the covenant? why not Sanghelios? (Elite homeworld) and Doisac (Brute homeworld)

Well, High Charity and Sanghelios would be better. After all, the Covenant was originally started by the San'Shyuum (Prophets) and Sangheili (Elites), not the Sangheili and the Jiralhanae (Brutes).

but high charity isn't a planet. its more around the size of a large asteroid, but he stated they start off with 2 planets.

yes, because high charity is an asteroid. you can't name a terran planet after an asteroid. that's like calling reach, 'moon'.

Well, High Charity is pretty damn big. Its like Ceres big, which is actually now considered a "pluton" or whatever the hell Pluto is now that it isn't a planet. Hell, High Charity is "built around an entire freaking Forerunner Dreadnought huge".

Does anyone know the name of the actual homeworld of the San'Shyuum? Because it isn't High Charity. That's just the Covenant's capital. Still, the Brutes are the most recent of the Covenant races. Hell, the Sangheili don't even let them have anywhere near the best Covenant tech simply because they are too much like humans, although we are smart enough to have not bombed ourselves back to the Stone Age multiple times.

Well, i did name the planets in the Covenant system but when you play the game it gives you randomly generated names.

I did think High charity but as many of you stated it isnt a planet it is an asteroid. These are all things i am working on at the moment as well as making the map bigger (the unsc had colonized sum 223 planets by 2525) so i want to put in around that many planets (not under UNSC control for obvious balance reasons).

So names of planets would be of great help, just gets some lists going for Covie planets and human planets

Wow! I just came across this! I'll definately fire this up with the Halo mod and play a game or two! Are you planning to make any more?
