Fleets, Wormholes and Capital Ships

Hi,

I am new to this game and I think it is great. I am a bit disappointed that there are set phase lanes to systems though and would have preferred it to have been something like Masters Of Orion 2 in that respect.

As that is not the case, I would like to ask someone capable to create a mod with something like the following.

I would like to see a mod whereby only Fleets with a Capital ship at the helm can use wormholes. All other ships should be constrained to the phase lanes unless accompanied by a Capital Ship.

When I recall T.V Programmes such as Babylon 5, I remember that only the BIG ships were capable of opening a Jump gate of their own and the other ships had to use the physical jump gates available, unless they where with the Bigger ship.

I think this would allow for more interesting maps and games and perhaps a good Babylon 5 mod.
