I don't know about anyone else, but I would pay for a mod like this. StarDock and Bungie should have a serious coffee brunch over this idea. Halo Wars is a cool thing, no doubt, but the interstellar war between the Covenant, the Gravemind and the UNSC would be sweet Sins-style.

i liked halo more than most fps games, most fps like call of duty and crysis has good numbers of weapons, that do the same thing, the weapons in halo are all different in the way they kill the enemys at least in one way or another (and in a bigger way than ammo or look)

Halo has a such a rich and detailed space combat storyline that it wold be a natural fit for this game. I eagerly await the day the mod comes out as I'm sure it will... Its a perfect fit for this kinda game. And while I'm no fanboy of the FPS game, I do think the novels expand wonderfully on the concept of real believable space combat.
