capital ships weaponry

allright i like the capital ship nice big ships
but they are huge and have some weaponbatteries

i think the biggest ship with the most batterys has 15 batteries but that isn't realistic i think such a cap ship should have like 60 batteries like in star wars or battlestar galactica all those capital ships have way more batteries

I tend to agree. For capital ship size, they mount popguns in terms of firepower.

I modded in more firepower for all the TEC ships.

i think that they are mising aa batterys that you would expect on it that would increase the number. 

p.s. the aa batterys should be much weaker then aa figits.

They work as they are in the vanilla game. However, I prefer them to be a bit overwhelming so I am modding my copy to magnify the differences between Frigates, Cruisers, and Capital Ships. They're quite powerful now, but I'm thinking of adding research to unlock the cap factory and some other stuff...

These mods are purely asthetic right? I personally would love to see some more firepower come from the capital ships myself.

and if you watch like star wars and you have venator class star destroyer it has a huge hangar bay and even more batteries and multiple decks of batteries

I agree too. However, there have already been many many threads on this topic, and it is fairly obvious by now that this issue is never going to be addressed. The upcoming 1.1 update will certainly not make any changes in this area (since the 1.09 beta does not), and it is unlikely that there will be any significant balance changes after that in a free update --the next one will cost money and be labeled as either an expansion pack or Sins II.

unfortunate thing i have no exp. with modding but i'm in the learning face
