Yes... TEC ships are the "humans" of all fantasy games and "terrans" of all space games. They are the middle-of-the-road average. It's been a common launching off point for most games going back to...well...pen & paper games. Humans provide the mean scores, and other races are higher or lower in each area depending on the vision of balance. *shrugs* Welcome to games!
