How do I install on a non-Internet capable computer?

I would like to install Sins of a Solar Empire on a computer not connected to the internet.  I have purchased a digital copy of Sins, installed Impulse to download the program, and have now seen that options to simply download an executable file are not obvious.  The computer that I access the internet through is not one I can leave a game installation on.  There does seem to be a "download and archive" option available, though it does not currently work (may have to uninstall the game first).  Is it possible to download the installation files and use them on a different computer?

Thanks.

Well...If you have a large enough flashdrive, you may be able to just download the game then slap the game directory and all the necessary files onto the flashdrive. Even better, you may just get a .exe file to install it, which you can just put onto a flashdrive, take it off on the non-internet computer and then install. Not sure how viable this is.

I'm trying the "download and archive" option right now to see what sort of file it spits out.  Looks like it is an .impulse file so far.  I'd like to try copying the game directory and necessary files over but I'm not sure if the installation makes registry entries or hides files elsewhere.

Any hints on the latter?

You will need to install a stand alone version of impulse first in order to install the archived game.

And as you have guessed, there are some registries settings that are needed for the game ;)

Impulse does NOT yet support offline installations (you have to logon online at least once). Stardock have made it abundantly clear that if your computer does not have Internet connectivity they are not interested in supporting the game or in having us as customers. (Apparently providing a way of patching and installing the game offline (outside of Impulse) is more work then they are willing to do.)

Refunds are not given.

I would have a quote here from Stardock that supports the above but I can not find it. Its defiantly buried somewhere on the forum though.

that's exactly what I was looking for.  connecting for a moment to register is not an issue but the PCs available at my location for gaming are isolated - we keep them off of the network so that folks can do what they will to them and not infect our business and science machines (I work at a remote science station if that explains the setup).

Much thanks to all of you.
