every map i make now is turning up as a black hole. meaning that i load it on sins and everyone dies and there is no stars or planets or anything. I have made maps with the forge before and they have worked. not sure what it is, i have both 1.05 game and forge.
thank you that worked, why do they have the galaxy folder with all the saves than?
The Galaxy folder in the user path is for the maps made with the in-game generator. That generator only makes map layouts and it doesn't put start positions, so every map file the game reads from that folder is assumed to have no start positions and the game tries to assign them. But since Galaxy Forge maps need starting positions, the game goofs up if it tries to read a GF map with them from a folder that's not supposed to have them.
