Game does not Launch; Launcher issue

I have a macbook pro with Parallels running windows in an os simulator produced by apple simulator lets windows have access to all system resources. I downloaded the game via impulse (latest version) anmd it failed to start. Uninstalled and redownloaded and installed again. Same issue. I ran the windows task manager after trying to start it via the exe file and also via the launcher it showed no attempt to run the program . I can only conclude the exe file is corrupted or faulty in some way. Is there a quick fix or a simple download to fix this?

i am having the same problem on my computer, however i do not have a mac.  On mine, the launcher opens up, but once you press play game, nothing happens other than the fact that the launcher disappears.  The computer that i am using was previously able to run Sins, but i uninstalled to get out of the beta and after reinstalation through impulse, the game is not working.

I think the biggest issue here is trying to run the game in Parallels.  Although Parallels may work fine for less system resource heavy apps, games are a different story entirely. Especially something like Sins.  Parallels works just like any other virtualization software and tries to emulate actual hardware to allow you to run software in a PC like environment.  Unfortunately, because of this emulation, the virtual hardware is completely different from and nowhere near as powerful as the actual hardware on the system.  This is the major reason Stardock Support does not officially support applications in ANY virtualized environment, PC or Mac.  A game like Sins is going to require a lot more in the way of resources than Parallels is going to be able to provide.  If you're looking to run games on a Mac, your best bet is going to be setting up a partition in Boot Camp.  This will at least give you closer to the machine hardware access and let you take full advantage of the resources on the machine.

Calling our office and speaking to four different people won't help your game run.  That is all.

that would explain the problems with the mac of the guy above me, but any ideas on mine?  its a pc that was able to run it previously...
