this is normal, except for those who have played the mod know of the SHIP GRAVEYARDS * cue spooky noises*. i happened upon one of them that was rather unusually rich with ships. These i did NOT count with the above ship list.

and then there was the Computer Control item added onto LR frigs that can allow control of enemy ships (which was very cool) and i used this untill i began to notice that my computer was overclocking. at this point i had well over two thousand ships on the screen at any given time (i guess i shouldnt have taken those pirate bases lol!) unfortunately i couldnt produce any screenshots otherwise id get a minidump (it usually happens when i overclock my computer on sins with a similar amount of ships onscreen)
i can try to list all the ships i took stole sequestered (lets go with that) but i am a lazy bastard
