I just read about it and i have to test it for myself but it seems that Vulkoras Desolators deploy siege platforms out of range if on autocast without the pinpoint bombardment technology, rendering those platforms usless on auto-use till the technology is researched.
Yep, been a long standing problem. I always get the siege platform last because you have to micro manage it. Shame, because the platforms are quite powerful.
AFAIK, once you get the rank 2 platform it deploys within range from the auto-cast. It's been a while since I paid attention, though.
it is true that the platroms are out of range but they are still very usefull. all you have to do is tell your vulcuras to go closer to the planet then tell it to attack it. then you can turn the autocast on and the platforms are in range. even though you have to do something extra to get them to work I still recomend using them because they are very useful.
Fixed. Also fixed some related bad behavior with the TEC's Sova's deployed turret. Both of these turrets should now be MUCH more useful.
