new planets?

how about a storm planet

Entrenchment will feature new planet bonuses and more importantly, unique bonuses for non-colonizable areas that will add much more variety to your exploration.

Also, I don't know if you are aware of it, but Uzii made a mod called Sins Plus, which added a bunch of new planet types, complete with unique planet bonuses and such. They're quite well made, so check it out if you haven't. I myself am working on some new planet types, but Uzii pretty much got them spot on.

I gave Danman, some ideas leading into new planets textures and names , The idkw it will be tho,EXAMPLE: Meth ice,gas,rock,terrian tons of new colors!  if UZII, PM me ,i can give him some new textures to convert over to the sins plus andfollowing into 7DS also,  my permission is ok with me To Add New things! PG

A *Ruins* planet would be nice. Basically the remains of a great city of a long dead civilisation. I don't know if it's moddable but I'd make it so there was a good chance of finding an artefact by exploring it.

I'd personally like to see a little more variety in the existing planets, especially gas giants [they all look like Jupiter :(]. The gas giants should also be significantly larger. I'd also like to see the sun surface view range decreased a whole lot so that you have to be in the gravity well of the sun essentially to see the surface of it... Otherwise just bloom light, would look better. Stars look kind of like large molten planets when you zoom in, they lose their shine. An ability to terraform would also be semi-wooty.

Also:
Probably hard to do, but skins of a planet that change when they're being bombarded... "Burning Terran planet", "Glassy Desert Planet", "Melted Ice Planet / Water world"... kind of a temp effect... but would be a nice piece of eye candy
