I recently updated sins to 1.09b[b]0.47. since thn whenever I try to load a mod, the game crashes. It does not finish loading. I do not gt to play with the mods. not even the reletivly stable 7deadly sins mod. 
Anyone got an explanation?
I'm not sure if any of the current MODS will work with the BETA?
Your best bet might be to contact the MOD maker for help. I seem to remember reading somewhere that if you edit one of the files in the MOD to change the version number it'll work?
Anny should be lurking around here somewhere.....I'm sure he'll have a better/more thorough answer....

Mods aren't updated to work with the beta because we don't have the text reference data, so the mod makers are waiting for the final patch release with the updated mod tools to update. Patches generally tend to break mods due to changes in the GameInfo files.

From what i gather from reading on the beta boards the final 1.1 patch wont be out until after November. What i do is keep archived installs of 1.05, and the 1.1 beta. I just uninstall/re-install whichever i feel like playing. One thing you should do is delete your "ironclad games" folder in your documents and setting if you do switch back n forth. This is so you dont screw up your 1.05 install with stray beta files.
Like Annatar said the patch breaks the mods. So until we recieve the updated 1.1 reference files no mod will work with the 1.1 beta.
Uncheck "show pre-release" in Impulse and reinstall Sins through it to get back to 1.05.

You can then make a copy of your 1.05 folder, then upgrade back to the beta patch. You'll have the "actual" install patched up and tied to Impulse, and you'll be able to run 1.05 off the copy
