Installation problems ?

I played this game at a friends and thought it was awsome. so i went and bought it and when i try to install it it says *fatal error please check settings and try again... now i know for 1 the only setting possable to change is the directory. i am using windows vista 2.5ghz and 8300 Nvidia.. Now i dont see why i would be getting such a retarted error. please help...

Please uninstall the DEMO first. Then attempt to install the game again.
