Hi,
After much silly thoughts about mobile defenses, i posted a mini mod into the stardock sins mods, but its not there yet, and for frigates with capital abilities, which i also posted a mini mod to stardock sins mods, and not there yet either, I have thought it might prove interesting to have a single carrier with colonize, capturenuetralentity abilityblackout and abilityDomination with say 50 fighters/bombers and slightly raised shields and restore rate. And take on the pirates and everyone else.
Haha. Anyway, I have been able to get the carrier with the proper abilities, and the restore rate and the hull and shields. My problem is when i go into the playerpsi.entity and remove those lines and the research that comes with it, i crash the mod on loading it. I can run it without removing the lines, but of course inside the game you have all the options to save yourself if you get in a jam. I was of a mind, to make believe the advent had almost been wiped out and this was in the future and the metal/crystal rate was poor, half what we have now. And no ships other than one carrier and the strike craft and the builders and the cap factory and the planet guns. Thats it.
If anyone knows of a safe way to remove all the other entries without crashing the mod, i would love to hear it. If not, i will have to take it a change at a time and see if i can get it to work. I have a feeling its possible, just long and changes more files than i am used to changing. Mostly i'm in the gameinfo folder and that is about it. Some people of course are into all the folders and files and are doing a lot more than my little mini's haha, but i'm having fun, and that is what counts.
