procedure for moving Sins from old computer to the new one?

I am buying another computer (going from single core agp to a dual core) and I would like to know if I would need to buy Sins again for the new computer or is it possible to transfer the Sins on my old computer to the new computer and still stay legal in order to continue to receive any future updates and continue to use Impulse and etc. ?

Just install Impulse and redownload the game the same as you did the first time; nothing special to it. If you want to save the download, you can also use Impulse's archive function and copy the archive over to the new machine, then restore it.

Whoa, the fact that idiot companies like EA are causing questions like this to be asked is just... appalling.

So I do not have to uninstall the game first from my old computer before downloading it to the new computer?

Thanks Stardock for your quick response, the reason why I asked is because I don't want to miss out on any of the new updates and expansion packs

Yeah I had to do the same when I got my laptop. You can either install it with the CD again or install impulse and download the game if you have already registered Sins.

Yeah about EA, I put Spore on my Christmas list, but I took if off because I didn't want to support them...
