Pre-Setup of Fleet on Map loadup?

Hi,

          I have played the Balance of Power map, and enjoyed it, but felt it would be nice to pre-load a map with both sides for mini skirmishes, maybe 30 minutes to an hour. In other words without the setup procedure. I have tried editing the file in a text editor and also in the galaxy forge but when it loads the pre-setup is missing. I know there is a checkbox in galaxy forge that asks to load the default template, but i unchecked that to use the altered one, at least i think i did. Let me try that one more time and see what i get. If anyone has experience with this i would appreciate someone lettimg me know how they do it. Thank you and take care.

It's okie, i figured it out. I changed the playername and voided the reference i guess to the original file, strange, but, there is some coding thing i am missing, but when i left the player name alone, the changes to the ships added worked.

Check out the guide about Scenario Templates.  Includes a modified "Systems Of War ULTRA" map made by yours truly.  Try it out, you start with fun stuff.

Ahhh... got the hang of importing ships and things into the maps.    Yay!!
