ok so its not realy a 4th faction but it is kind of cool

the other day i got 4 advent cap ships (the one that can capture enemy ships)

and i kept warping to the pirate base, stealing a few ships then warping out

after a while i had myself a nice little pirate fleet of my own :)

im sure people have done this before and maybe im quite sad for loving it so much but it put a smile on my face :)

I just played a 6 hour game with advent and didn't know they could steal ships LOL. Which Cap. is it?

Lol, I got this idea when playing with Thrawn but then I also realized I never built a Rapture....so I'll try it sometime ***Builds 16 Raptures  :D

make sure you tell all the strike craft to dock up or they keep killing the pirate ships your trying to steal :)

 

ill try to find the save and take sum pics but im pretty usless at stuff like that

however it is easy to do it yourself the only hard part is getting the caps up to lvl 6 :))

Steal a pirate fleet with the Domination ability; I'd never thought to do that.

:)  Haha, it sounds perfectly wonderful!!  Haha, no more worrying about getting a fleet! But at level 6 for the Rapture, it will take awhile.  But i can live with that.  :)  Thank you for the interesting idea, and for sharing it.  :)

Put where the pics are is a good question, I also use Vista and I cannot find any of the screenshots I have taken of some pretty insane battles and games! *looks at his camera just laying there right beside him and curses it for being to lazy to stretch his arm*!

Yes you can go past your supply limit.  In a very long game vs 7 AI set to hard I used a pair of them to steal at least 2, usually 4 enemy carriers every fight.  At the very end I was at negative four hundred and something supply points and had a heck of a collection of Advent, Vasari, and Terran carriers that was very powerful pretty much by accident.

did you know one of the pirate ships has a special ablilit called "plunder" and it steals credits from your enemy :)

Isn't there a screenshots folder in the stardock\sinsofasolarempire\ folder ?

Or in the mod path the \localapps\ironclad games\sinsofasolarempire\ folder?

I thought i saw it in one of them, i couldnt find mine either, but then stumbled over it

when i was copying files for a mod.
