Try to run the executable directly (Sins of a Solar Empire.exe), not the Launcher - what happens?

Try running it as an Admin, try giving it permissions in your firewall, and if those don't work, reinstall it.

1.  What is the patch-level of your OS? Are you keeping up-to-date?

2.  Drivers.....are they all up-to-date?

3.  What Direct X version are you running?

4.  What is your system hardware? (specs....video, cpu, ram, etc.)

..oh and the title of your thread is tacky and unecessary!  There are quite a few of us helping on these forums and being "yelled-at" just seems somewhat insulting; besides which that title cannot help others who may experience a similar issue down the road.

You really should run Windows Update and make sure your video and sound drivers are current.  I'm doubtful reinstallation will accomplish anything.

Yeah make sure you have Service pack 2, and that you meet the requirements lol...

Post up a DxDiag.  Should be more enlightening than the very limited information we've received so far.
