How do I roll back to 1.05 for mod?

How do I do it?  I just downloaded the DFA mod, and I'll be really bummed if I can't play it.

You would have had to have made an archive of Sins before you patched.  (I think)

Oh.  Is there anywhere I could get one?  A dude named shadowmastif offered to send me one if I PM'ed him my E-mail, but he hasn't gotten back to me yet.

I got reference data, but how do I use it?  I've tried copying it into my Sins folder, but it's still V1.11.

Why don't you uninstall, reinstall, use impulse to archive, and then don't patch from the game CD?

Click on "My Games" tab, right click on Sins of a Solar Empire, and select Archive Application

In the case of uninstalling and reinstalling, unless you have a copy of the old 1.05 patch.exe you are just plain SOL. You can not use impulse to patch a DVD installed game to a specific patch level.

Honestly. this might be something to look into. What it I don't want to patch up all the way but I just desire a specific patch level due to a specific MOD file, compatibility issue, or the fact that I just do not LIKE the game fully patched. What if the gameplay changed in some way that I found undesirable at this time.

So how about it Startdock? Is something like this possible?
