Moons?

I'm drawing up ideas and was just wondering, if only just for aesthetic reasons. Is it possible to replace the asteroids above planets with moons? But to still function in the same way with extractors and such, and what about having extractors that interact with the planet directly?

ah... try the 7 deadly sins mod... you'll see moon in planetary orbit with planetary bonuses

Yes there is a mod that adds moons but they dont orbit in a circle around the planet.
