I dunno if its just me having this prob but everytime i try to longon to Ironclad Online it immediately says Disconnected From Ironclad Online. Didn't have this prob yesterday so whats the deal?

AFAIK Craig the old ICO server port was 6000 so it gave the "wrong version of ICO detected" error for people with earlier patches, but I've noticed the server port for 1.1 is 7000 now which would mean all the people on port 6000 with earlier game versions will just get a disconnect instead of the wrong version message.

I had fixed my issue with port 7000 (opened it on firewall) and was still getting the error - unable to try again until I get home tonight (about 9 hours or so... :( )

The issue with ICO this morning has been fixed. This could be a seperate issue. Is there any chance that someone got a hold of your serial number and is currently logged in?

If this is refering to me, I don't believe so. As I said, my issue was due to port 7000 not being open in firewall (FAQ didn't mention this, since it has changed for 1.1 from 6000). I then was playing OK over the weekend, but not last night. I will find out tonight when I get home if I am still having any issues.

Also, the email I got from "Josie" (I think it was to ironclad support - it might have been the stardock auto reply - I emailed the ICO down issue to both) suggested making sure Sins was fully updated via Stardock Central.

And while I am nit picking, The Monk's guide on the FAQ page doesn't link to anything. Small issues, but will help people if they know about it etc...

I've had several problems, as had a few of my friends with ICO. Frozen games, unable to loggon etc etc etc. All sense the 1.1 update. No, I don't believe anyone is using my serial, same problems are happening with friends computers. 1.05 was solid as a rock but sense the update it's been buggy as can be. I will say that the AI is better and things seem balanced though.

It's not working for me either, I get a network error disconnected from ICO. Nothing in my configuration has changed since I last played.

Ok, so stardock is rebranding as impulse and I need to use that to update the software. Next time I'd apreciate an email from corporate hq explaining what's going on. Thanks Hack78 for pointing me in the right direction.

They're not rebranding.  The company is still Stardock.  The download client for patches is Impulse and is listed in the manual.

Just happened to me now in the middle of a game. Now says disconnected from ironclad whenever I try and login. Also just got an update for impulse as well. coincidence?

now my serialwasnt stolen but then again i havent played in several months this is my first time trying to play it again in a while so idk...never had this problem before when i played it just says network error disconnected from ICO...how do i find out if its the same old problem you guys have been haveing or if it is possibly my serial number being stolen?

I've been trying to get a game for about a week solid yet all I get is "dissconected from ICO". I've tried updating and all that but nothing works. It can't be a firewall problem as mine isn't even on. It can't be stolen serial's as I haven't even been online with it and my game isn't pre-owned.
