Getting Mods to Work

Greetings all. I suspect that this may be a noob question, but I seem to be having trouble in getting my Mod to work. I've downloaded it, and I know where I'm to put it (I've read what it says) but I can't seem to find the mod folder. Any ideas where to put it, or am I suppose to create a mod folder?

I run Vista, so I imagine that it's the problem. I'd appreciate any help.

If you can't see the AppData folder, make sure you enable "Show hidden files and folders" in your Windows Explorer settings It's hidden by default. The path is there, the game uses it for its user settings, saves, etc - so it can't not exist Also make sure you're running the latest version, 1.0 had no mod support so in there actually isn't a Mods folder in the path.

Thanks for the help! I do see the AppData folder, but it doesn't have a mod folder...I'm running the latest version, 1.1.

Another question...I'm rather confused...where is that button to show hidden folders?

It's in your Windows Explorer options, should be Tools > Folder Options > View or something like that (running on XP right now at work, so Vista might be slightly different).

Your full path should be C:\Users\youruser\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods. There's definitely a mods folder in there with 1.1
