Queued structures waiting to be constructed

I don't recall, but wasn't there a thread a while back saying that the AI wouldn't attack structure blueprints that had not been constructed at all yet?  Because if that was the intention, the AI is certainly going ahead and wiping out repair platforms and hangars that haven't been started yet in 1.11.

Was this the case?

There used to be a bug that allowed a structure to be blown up before it is started. But you can kill somethign that is started but not yet completed...

Right, but in this instance I'm talking about just barely ordered structures that a construction frigate has not touched yet being shot at and blown up by the AI.

Just happened multiple times in my last 1.11 game.

if they destroy the planet all structures waiting to be built explode. maybe this is what you see?

Some strucutres get build 1% and then the construction friagte moves somewhere else - but that might be enough for someone to target it and blow it up???

This used to be possible and got fixed ages ago.  Maybe it was reintroduced in the last patch?  I certainly haven't witnessed it yet, but I haven't had a lot of time to play since 1.1 went live.  Best thing to do is save the replay, make a note of the time it happens and where so it can be witnessed, and link the replay in the forums so the devs can confirm the bug and get it fixed.

Mazuo, do you have a replay or save? I played a game recently where pirates attacked as I was in the middle of building some platforms, but they didn't kill any of the templates.

This happend to me yesterday, but i only noticed it on one structure. And since buildings are destroyable when they are being built, that allows the enemy to destroy them.

I'll see if I still have the replay or the save.  I was tired when I was playing, but I'm rather sure they were at 0% and hadn't had any construction started when the AI decided to get rid of them.

Edit:  Nope, can't find it.  The auto-records don't have it and as this was from a few days ago, I don't recall exactly where in the system at what time this was occurring.  I'll try another couple games in the upcoming days and see if I can get it to happen again and post back here with save files if it does.  Sorry if it's a false alarm, but thanks all.

I have found the 1% building issue occurs if I do this (not fully tested - just going from memory)

Colonise a planet with 5 tac slots

Queue up a tac upgrade

Place a phase stabaliser

then click to build mines/trade ports etc...

Often the phase stabaliser is built to 1% and then its like the construction ship goes "Hang on a minute, there aren't actually enough slots ready for this, better go build something else...".

At this point, since it has actually been started, it could be blown up...
