Question: Default ICO Chat Channel After Game?
When you exit a game do you prefer to ICO to automatically have you join a chat channel with the players you just played with or do you prefer to automatically go back to the main lobby?
Thanks,
-Blair

Main lobby.
I like the chance to chat at ease with those you just played with. A great opportunity to learn from the more experienced players.

BTW Blair why would windows media center turn on right after I quit Sins because I never linked any music to the media player or anything else. In fact I know that I have not use it for over a year.

Can you just make it an options choice? Like a good old checkbox in the prefrences? Checked for Lobby by default chat channel?
Having the private channel to talk about the game after is good.
What I WOULD like in ICO chat is to be able to see a second channel at the same time, and talk to it - e.g. be setting up a game in my own channel and to watch the lobby and post to it. Currently you can do this by leaving the channel you are in (e.g. to ask ppl to join your game), but then you miss what is going on in your game channel...
I realise that some people may have real estate issues, but with a 24", I have the space and I am sure many others do to...
You can deffinately make check box option for that.
Any word on the final decision? Or was the idea scraped?![]()
The current solution to put you on a separate chat channel doesn't really work.
1) If you quit/surrender, there is nobody in the room... for a few hours.
2) If the game really is over, they are probably glossing over the graphs, so there won't be anyone for a few minutes.
3) If you were not the first one to leave the game, the previous guy probably got bored after 3s of sitting in the empty channel and is already in the Lobby1 room... or maybe the next game.
4) Lobby1 is too quiet anyway. A few guys discussing their game wouldn't hurt the athmosphere at all! At least you know these guys are not AFK and you might be able to pick up some clue about what kind of games they like.
You are right about Lobby being quite. LOL, usually just me promoting and the usual 'JOIN our game!!! OMG!! you nubs join a real game....blah blah blah blah etc etc etc"
U got it right on the money
