I did all the signing up and upgrading via impulse. Now when I start the game all (ALL!!!) the places where text is supposed to be have "string not found" labels.

I assume the reason might be that I have a german version of the game .... but still ...
The patch is English only. Kalypso should be releasing German and French patches on Impulse sometime soon 
you can fix it bei insert a better translation file. fe u can use the english.str.
i use a modified german.str (think i had it from sinsofasolarempire.de and it was for the first betarelease, but it still works...
but i am nearly sure that enought to rename the german.str to english.str.
Our version is beyond the beta status now. Everything is translated and the problems with ä,ö,ü,ß are fixed.

Let me clarify and repeat one thing:
I bought the german version (I'd rather have the english one but that's not the issue here) and upgraded it via Impulse. So if the <quote>patch is English only</quote> then why the **** did Impulse give it to me? Now Sins has the status "1.11 installed", while in reality I have a mess.
