problem w/ particle forge

can some one help me particle forge wont work and every time i try to start it a box just comes up saying:

 

ParticleForge.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Plz help me.

I have the exact same problem. I tried to find the problem, but the error list was only so much jiberish. No help at all.

I do know that the problem is in the file offered for download, or there's some special method for installation.

what the hell is macroshaft?  I know Vista is microsoft not macroshaft.  you use an ashole?  as in the Bigmac?  anyway, its not Vista.  Galaxy forge was at working for me at the beginning.
