So I bought this game about a week ago and haven't done a d___ thing but play it since. But I'm starting to think that I'm letting it stress me out too much. The thing is, sometimes it seems like the best strategy is waiting. I've taken to leaving the game running while I get up, do the dishes, pour a drink... come back and I'm just about where I want to be. It would be sad if I got attacked during that time, but so far I've been lucky. The thing is that sometimes I get too frenetic -- wanting to research this, build that, scout here, colonize there... almost all of which costs resources that I would be better off saving until I can afford... a new capital ship, or the upfront costs of colonizing a new planet or whatever.
Do you find yourself less busy in this game than in other RTS games like Star/Warcraft?
