Installation Error

I've uninstalled Sins and when I went to reinstall it I'm getting a fatal error. The error reads "The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2343." I'm running the install from the DVD. Has anyone else encountered this problem before and if you have what did you do to fix it?

BTW, I'm running XP SP2 on a P4 3.00 GHz and 2 GB mem.

I'd recommend you install Impulse (http://www.impulsedriven.com) if you don't have it already, make sure Sins is registered, and just download the most up-to-date version. You'd have to grab Impulse anyway for the 1.11 patch and it's big enough that the full patched game download isn't all that much bigger

Thanks for the info. Iwas able to download and install successfully from Impulse BUT, now when I start the game, the screen blacksout like it's starting to load but then it hangs to the point where I have to power cycle my machine. It does it no matter if I start from the programs menu or if I start from Impulse. Any idea about this?
