Fixed my problem by uninstalling Entrenchment, copying 1.12 into the folder, and then reinstalling Entrenchment
It works and I can still run 1.12 for the mods
This brings up a good point. These people will likely be in the minority but Sins has to be updated to the latest version to have Entrenchment installed. If you have only installed off the DvD and never updated, then have gone through Impulse to download Entrenchment it will not work. In a semi-remote situation like that you would need to reinstall through the DvD (because it is faster) update to 1.1, then download and install Entrenchment. After that you will see that there will only be one icon for Sins: Entrenchment and no Sins. This is normal.
If you wish to keep back older versions of Sins for mods and the like you will need to install it somewhere else in your system, preferably on another drive if possible.
