frigate - cruiser - capship build tabs

the tabs for building ships used to be frigate - cruiser - capship. now, its capship - frigate - cruiser. is there any logic behind this? otherwise I'd prefer the original way, because it ascended in power. and without a good reason to chance it, I don't see a reason to.

Not a fan either of the new style. Change seems arbitrary.

A lot of tooltips, hotkeys, etc. seem to be swapped between frigate/capital factory, as well. Maybe it's a bug.

If it's not, it should be. Random interface changes are not welcome.

We changed the button order to increase consistency between starbases and planets/factories for building frigates and cruisers. Since the bottom left most button is always attack for objects with weapons, it made sense remap build capital ships to that slot since starbases have weapons but are unable to build capital ships.

that actually does make some sense. it still does seem a bit counter-intuitive. but maybe that's just the getting over an old habit. would capship - cruiser - frigate make more sense? what do you think, I can't really decide on that one.

At least the cruiser tab would be in the "correct" position then. :thumbsup:
