TEC Starbase Graphic Mess up

I just got the beta a few hours ago and started playing as advent and then moved over to TEC. I noticed a few bugs but most of them are obvious, so i figured some one else would mention them (And they did). Then i ran into a little graphic bug with the TEC starbase.

On the top of the star base where it builds ships there is the glowing square, Well for some reason that moved outside of my starbase and is now set up about where the trading docks would be.

I have a picture but i can't figure out how to get it on here.

Same thing happened to me with the Vasari base (green swirly glow in the center), after I saved the game and came back to it.

I thought it might be a bug with moving the starbase, but obviously not, if it's happening with the TEC base, as well.

Well i figured out how to get a picture up. As you can see the green box moved out from the top and went to the side. Also if you view the starbase from behind like (Camera looking at starbase-Starbase_green box) the green box dissapears. ITs only visable from about 180 degrees.

I'd post pictures, too, but it's pretty much the same deal.

Just imagine the Vasari base with the green circle stuck halfway out one of its spiky arms.

I've got the same problem. It has only happened with the TEC base, though.

You guys should post your graphic card specs. Card, driver version etc.

That bug also happen when you build trade ports on the base. See my tread for picture.

Good find. Thanks. I have a few ideas why this might be happening.

I've only noticed it for second tier TEC trade port upgrade on the station.

Probably because we don't look at everysingle bug report before bring attention to it. The alternative would be for me just to say nothign since i don't have the time too look through the entire forum when every one is posting about various things.

Same reason the mine glitch was posted at least 3 times: people weren't looking at other threads. We need a global list of reported bugs, link to report, resolution status, etc, if possible.

Yes, like a sticky where the OP is edited whenever a new bug is reported.  Then just tell everyone to look at that before posting.

or maybe a working search function

I've been doing some research, and I think that I've discovered the problem. When ever a new starbase is built, or an existing one is upgraded, the glowing thing switches location with another particle. Usually its one of the exhaust clouds, and if you look closely at the hole where the glowing thing should be, you can see the exhaust cloud in it. I have a screenshot, but I can't seem to get it to show up. I've also seen it replace one of the little flashing lights, with the light ending up inside the hole. As I said earlier, this seems to happen everytime a new base is built, or an existing one is upgraded. You add trade to the base, and all the glowing squares in the correct places will switch somewhere else, and all of the squares in the wrong places go back to the correct locations. Hope this helps.

I've had it happen with no trade port, T1, and T2.
