Couple of ideas or thoughts on beta stuff

I think that the costs for the starbases should be way more than what they are now...both credit wise and resource wise.  Not for sure on the other 2 races...but when I built my first one for the vasari last night, it cost about 1/2 the total cost of a cap ship.  These are supposed to be much stronger and better than a cap ship...shouldn't the cost be proportionate to that?

Also, you should have a upper cap limit on the amount of mines that you can place and there should be a resource cost to place mines.  I literally placed about 100 mines all over one grav well in about 5 minutes time.  There was no way an enemy ship was gonna fly anywhere in that grav well without blowing itself to pieces.

Just some thoughts, and I will post this in the beta forum as well.

I haven't played alot yet, but so far I feel like the cost of the Starbase seems right.  The research stations + the research itself in addition to building the construction frigate.  I do however feel like the upgrades are a little expensive to begin with.  Case in point would be the hangar upgrades which are close to twice what you would pay for a hangar bay defensive structure.  Maybe drop the cost of the first upgrade in the series and have them get more and more expensive with each succesive upgrade.  Not to cheap mind you, just a little less.

I also feel like my starbase was plenty strong in the early mid game.  It was noticably stronger with two or three military upgrades.

In the same game last night as TEC and I was having to pay 1000c ~250m and ~200cry per minefield.  I actually felt like they were a little expensive, but I was playing on a small 1v1 map.
