Is it just me or is it annoying to hear this every time a single mine is completed? It says "minefield complete" for one thing, when only a single mine was. And the "structure complete" sound plays every time one is finished as well. That's 10 times per field.
I can only imagine laying 10 fields at once and hearing it 100 times in a row. 
I assure you, it's not just you.
Notifications that play constantly, and mean nothing, might as well not be there, since you have to learn to ignore the darned things, anyway.
Don't you get it? That's the best counter for mines right now! That they're incredibly annoying to build! And not even to micro, they're annoying to your eardrums!
Right now, the only way to prevent you from building 500 mines across a grav well is that you're going to have to hear the completion noise 500 times, all while you're trying to concentrate on other things!
But in all seriousness, that has to be pretty annoying. Of course, there is the already built-in solution of the vocal volume control...
Yeah, but then you hear nothing. 
And I loooooove hearing the ship captains talk to me. 
I stopped building mines most the time because of the CSC (Confirmation Sound Cap). Once you hear enough confirmations, your mind hits it's "Cap", and can't build any more. . .
