Devs: New Feature? Please?

Hey Devs,

Is there any possible way to have a save map feature for random maps.  Say you like a map that was randomly generated.  It is good all around and you could see yourself playing there again...would there be a way to create a "Save Map" Feature that would save the current map in your custom map folder?

Anyone's input is welcomed.

Well you can do this for the in-game map generator maps, at least. I know you're asking for the one where you select "Random - .... " in the map list.

Yeah, I know that haha.  But yeah it'd be nice to be able to save the map into the custom maps section if you like a map that was randomly generated ;)

I've had some random maps which were things of beauty for their balancing and planet placement.  I wish this could be done as well.

For now I would take a screenshot and recreate it in galaxy forge.  Give it a name and tweak it for perfection.

I thought of this recently too. There have been some amazing maps that i'd like to play again, but have long since lost the replays due to the betas :(
