miracles, a requirement for obtaining sainthood under catholicism.
Oh. But not being catholic I would hardly be expected to get the joke.
The anointed refers to pushy liberals that want to subject the rest of the population to their help, whether they want it or not.
Yet another reference I'm not familiar with. Perhaps this is something that someone that listens to Rush Limbaugh would understand, however given that his show is on in the afternoon those of us with jobs usually don't have the time to listen to him even if we were so inclined.
and generally go stark raving mad when a right winger calls them names on the internet, are also anti gun because "guns" kill people.
Wrong on two counts in a single sentance. I hardly go start raving mad because a self admitted asshole calls me a moron. You aren't the only one that can find amusement in these threads and I already mentioned my gun control beliefs or don't they measure up to your standards?
Subject free, my question is, would you refute misinformation provided by a supporter of your side, or let it slide. If so, is that not equally dishonest as the spreader?
I suppose my tendency would be to not look quite so critically at someone that agreed with me as I would at someone that didn't. That's only natural. However with that said if I noticed something that I considered misinformation from someone that supported my side of an argument I would definitely try to refute the misinformation if only because such information damages my argument, not enhances it.
But then there's also a matter of degree involved as well. As you well know it can sometimes be a fair amount of work to scan the internet for useful proof. Why is it my responsiblility to prove your case? Quoting from Brad, that is what liberals do. They expect others to have interest in their particular causes. You wouldn't be a closet liberal would you?
Also, it's been -25 here in Anchorage, I've been wearing shorts and an unlined leather jacket while walking to stores, and sweating while I do it.
Big whoop, Anchorage is for wusses, my wife lived in Fairbanks for a many years along with spending a lot of time in Anatuvuk Pass and that was long before Anatuvuk Pass had electricity, let alone a web cam (
http://akweathercams.faa.gov/sitelist.php can't link directly). Plus it *was* colder then.
By the way, nice to see you back from your 3 day weekend.
