Cannot create account

Maybe german.str bug-related

Hi!

I just

bought the game (German version)
uninstalled the demo version
installed the full version
clicked on the "update" button
registered the game
entered my serial
downloaded impulse
installed impulse
updated the game
encountered the infamous "string not found" bug
used google
downloaded altered german.str from www.sinsofasolarempire.de
tried to create an account for online play
failed

1.I cannot use "@" ([ALT GR] + [Q]) symbol to enter my eMail, but I can copy and paste my eMail

2.Doesn't get my anywhere, cause when I try to enter my serial, instead of the last symbol just a blank space appears

3.The "continue" button is disabled

What can I do now?

OK, I started right from the beginng (blank account creation sheet), this time it worked. My guess is, I had a typo in the passwort confirmation.

I don't change the frist post, because I still would be interested in a statement about the @-symbol an the eerie blank spaces while entering the serial number. Is this actually related to the altered german-str?
