cant place structures

Hi,

 

I purchased and installed Entrenchment. Apologies if this has already been adressed. I looked over the forum and didn't see this particular problem.

 

I can't place structures where I want them. Clicking on a structure to build, turret for instance, seems to place structure at the nearest constructor ship. No little circle etc. to allow me to place structure where I want it. Obviously this is a real game killer.

 

Has anyone else encountered this? Am I missing something?

Press K or click the "infintiy sign over three boxes" button to the right of the center portrait. It turns off autoplace
