Serious Multiplayer bug - Starbases wont upgrade

me and a friend have been testing entrenchment on multiplayer - and we have tried this on many multiplayer maps, and this is definetly not a random bug. whenever we try to upgrade a starbase of any race, it shows the assignments as waiting, and never actually completes them. it is very frustrating because it does'nt seem to affect the AI, who can upgrade at their will.

it defeats  the point of starbases, meaning they are weak, cannot attack, and are simply turrets with  little more power.

Yep, this has been reported in about 10 different threads.  I still haven't seen a response from the Devs on it though.  By the way, this bug ONLY exists when you use Alloy.  If you turn Alloy off, the starbases upgrade just fine in MP.

What's this "Alloy"?

When you click Ironclad Online and sign in, click Host Setup.  You'll see it there.  It uses NAT-T to "tunnel" through routers, thereby allowing anyone and everyone to host because no router steup is required.

Ah, I forgot about that, thanks.

I have no clue what you are talking about.  Try hosting.  If people can join your game, you can host.

If you don't have a router to begin with, chances are you won't need Alloy. It's basically a means to host games without tinkering with router settings to allow the needed ports to be forwarded. That said, at this day and age it's generally a bad idea to be directly connected to the 'net without a router. They provide quite a bit of security when correctly configured...
