Some suggestions for the developers...

Great expansion pack. Here's what I think should be looked at...

1. There needs to be a faster way to clear mines.

My current technique is to have some strike craft standing by while I probe with scout ships. This takes my focus away from other events for too long.

I would like to suggest that Hoshiko Robotics cruisers be equipped for mine removal. Perhaps give them some ordinance disposal drones to dispatch?

2. Turn off the "Structure Complete" announcement when each individual mine is laid.

Seriously, that gets annoying.

3. There is a grammar error in the description of the "Auxillary Government" technology.

4. The picture of the gauss cannon in the "ballistics and rocketry" category is no longer relevant, because gauss cannon upgrades are now under a different tab. (Nitpicky, I know)

Probably best to elaborate on this. The more precise we are in testing and communicating the easier it is for the devs to fix it.

Ok, current text is as follows:

Grants Argonev class star bases access to Auxiliary Government upgrades, which prevent the loss of control its gravity well's planet through bombardment and deny its colonization by hostile empires.

Insert an "of" between "control" and "its".

Ok I got one more small problem.

The Kol's rail gun projectile looks like a giant meteor. It was not like that before. It no longer looks realistic.

I know it's close to the release date, so I hope somebody already caught that.

January 1st is a placeholder date.  In all likelihood, all that will happen is a new beta (if that).  Release date is still to my knowledge unannounced.

I'm sure they have a fix for the mines already as well as cost adjustments. They are working on the serious issues wit the minidump/texture issue and the multiplayer economy issue - those aer game breaking issues - mines are an annoyance

 

If you want to, you can create a mod that tackles the mines issue you can chagne any of the values you want if you don't mind getting a bit dirty.

or you can wait until I release my band-aid solution to how I think the game should work ;)
