[recognition]Beta AI

There has been a lot of feedback on what needs improving which is great. What I wanted to point out those is some the things the devs are doing right.

I have to say, the AI is far far better than previous builds. I see that unit AI is much smarter and the Character AI is much improved.

I just saw the AI jump into my small dead astroid with a fleet and a starbase. It set up the starbase and jumped out just as it was built forcing me to send in a fleet to take out the starbase. Then they attacked my system where my ships jumped out of.

Even more interesting, When I told my fleet to attack the starbase, my carriers moved out of the range of the starbase and sat just on the edge in safety.

I've alos noticed that LF's will attack at 90% range and try to keep targets within that range so they are far more efficient than before.

These are some awesome improvements devs and I'm looking forward to see what other tweeks have been done. Keep this up!! <3

I built my Advent starbase in a Vasari controlled asteroid system and the ships there came to attack it while it was being constructed. When it finished, however, they retreated to a nearby system.

Bloody AI drove a fleet right through some neutral planets and up my weaker flank in my last game. I never would have expected that from the AI before.

I took a planet in their solar system, which coincidently was the only planet in order to get to their worlds.

When i was taking it over, their fleet retreated, as soon as i took over the colony and started building, they rushed through back to the planet and attacked my fleet, i thought this would be a easy fight concidering i outnumbered and out gunned them, They took out all my scout ships, and then retreated. Shortly after i relised, they place mines everywhere around my planet, if my fleet moved they got ripped to shreds......

So the AI throught it would be clever to send one of their scout ships over so all my ships would move to attack it.......

My fleet didnt last a good 10-20 seconds after that, Shortly after they recaptured the planet....

When i tried to take it back from them, i was met by millions of mines all over the planet grav well.
The perfect chock point, The only planet to get to their planets
And the AI filled it with mines so if i went in, i got blown up easily by the mines, and then their fleet moped up the rest.

I played "System of war", the final AI controlled two outlying systems, and whole central system with the excption of two of my planets (I had the rest). During the time it took for me to eradicate all of it's colonies (game lasted 12 hours), it managed to launch two serious attacks, and the only planet it tried to defend was it's homeworld  , there were plenty of starbases, but most of them were unupgraded. plenty of mines too, which i got tired of clearing with scouts + strikecraft, so i just plowed through them, nothing to worry since the ai fleets ran away screaming like the little girls they were (Advent, i mean  ), whenever they spotted my fleet.

But AI's fleets do act smarter.

Aye, serious kudos on the AI upgrades.  For those of us who only play single player its sweet.
