Please help with game locking up

Good morning all ! I've been playing about 7 hours , 9 planets 10 capital ships ,map with 5 suns and 51 planets , 9 AI's plus myself . I've replayed from ' save ' 3 times and after I've been told " insufficient supplies for more ships " , I go to Logistics . I only have one " tennis ball " at the end left , click it on , get more supplies for more ships and than game locks up . As I mentioned I've replayed this 3 times and in all cases samething has happened I've made sure all planets are running a" plus " in credits along with metals and crystals . I can't see the problem . Please help the game just started to get interesting . I have noticed that I'm showing " 0 " for trained crews for capital ships but I still have left two levels . Help , help ,help !

What do you mean locks up. As in just freezes. credits stop coming in ships stops moving, but camera works. Or PC locks up. Or game craches. Or game completely freezes and stops responding, but PC ok.

Just to c if we can work out what the problem might be

everything freezes except cursor , have to shut down to get out of game
