The issue I ran into is not really that important but I'm going to bring it up anyway. Also, I'm not sure if it's a problem caused by the beta or not.

Anyway, if you don't have a capital factory but click on the option to view the types of capital ships, it says frigate factory required. This is more of a misplacement of sound files then a bug but I thought I would bring it to somebody's attention.

It's because the capital ship button was placed where the frigate button used to be. Yeah they just didn't change the sound file.

Ya both the sounds are misplaced, but so is the crusier - so its all messed up. That is probably an easy fix once the next update is out that will probably be in the changelog.
